Sharks & Lilies began long before it became a business.

Founder Shaneece Green discovered her love for jewelry making at just ten years old. What started as creativity soon became something much deeper.

Years later, while grieving the loss of her great-grandmother and adjusting to motherhood, Shaneece opened her great-grandmother's jewelry box. Every necklace, bracelet, and ring carried a memory, a story, and a legacy.

She realized jewelry could become more than something people wear.

It could remind people who they are.

It could hold hope.

It could celebrate healing.

In 2017, Sharks & Lilies was born.

Today, that vision has grown into a social enterprise that creates intentional jewelry while investing in the lives of youth and young adults impacted by foster care, a journey Shaneece knows personally.

As the founder of Sharks & Lilies, Shaneece combines her passion for intentional jewelry design with her commitment to creating opportunities for youth and young adults impacted by foster care. Through mentorship, leadership development, scholarships, and holistic wellness, she is building the kind of community she believes every young person deserves.

Shaneece holds an MBA, is a certified Crystal and Chakra Healer, life coach, speaker, and experienced leader in education and community engagement. Her work has been recognized for its innovative approach to blending entrepreneurship with measurable social impact.
